Bochum Welt is the stage name of the Italian electronic musician Gianluigi Di Costanzo. The name Bochum Welt is a combination of the German word for "world" (welt) and the name of a high-powered astral telescope.

Bochum Welt's first two albums for Rephlex shone with character, British music magazine NME even ran an article claiming that Bochum Welt was another of Aphex Twin's myriad alter egos. Featuring songs that exhibit the memorable melodies and heart-in-mouth tenderness of romantic IDM and electro at its best.

In 2019 Bochum Welt released the album Seafire under CPU Records, bringing back the 90’s era braindance and acid vibes.
