About
MediaData is the solo project of the Russian Denis Vasiliev, who, starting in 2008, explores the most cerebral ramifications of the technological musical criterion, merging glitch, IDM, industrial and ambient sounds. Through music languages composed of sci-fi elements and psychic vibrations, interweaving reality with fantasy, sublimely combining the cold tangibility of logic with visionary projections, conceptually positioning the themes on the interpretation of 'space', understood not only as the astronomical void that exists among the Celestial Bodies in the Universe, but as a direct dialogue between the physical macrocosm and the inner dimensions.
Mediadata has music in which we perceive the simultaneity of Intelligent Dance Music intuitions, mesmerizing downtempo rhythmics, suggestive ambient rarefactions, tenuous glitch convergences and elegant modern classical ornaments contrasted with industrial textures. Electronically romantic and melancholic harmonies fill the sounds with enchanting atmospheres stimulating the listener's imagination. A perfect combination of by the cathartic flows of the pads, the algebraic asymmetries of drum-programming, the sequenced micro-particles and the refined embellishments of neoclassical orchestrations.
