Reid W. Dunn releases music under the monikers Wisp or Dwaalicht.
When it comes to Dunn’s influences; Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, and Mike Paradinas are obvious reference points, but add Tangerine Dream to the mix and you get a sense of the scope of Wisp’s vision.
With a strong emphasis on melody and movement, the tracks collected on this album take on an optimistic, hopeful, almost epic quality you don’t often find in IDM, and he's got a very unique style of combining Soundtrack/Medieval-like elements with Braindance.
His project Dwaallicht has been releasing on the label Analogical Force and we cant wait to hear what is next from the prolific artist.
