Kettel (real name Reimer Eising), was born in 1982, He is an inhabitant of the city of Groningen in the Netherlands and a trained classical pianist, and has been a busy man since his first record on the Planet Mu label in 2003. Along his path there were several ep’s and albums on his own Sending Orbs label and work on the legendary Rotterdam based Clone label. 

Kettel is known for his delicate, melodic, playful melodies uniting elements of electronica, classical music, jazz and techno stirred into flawless, memorable compositions. Self-described “elixir-brewing, camping-loving and musicmaking sorcerer-to-be”. His upbeat, spontaneous melodies, fast paced breaks and organic folk sounds are similar to the likes of Aphex Twin, Jega, and Plaid.
