Mause is a Producer From Brighton U.K. Producing tracks of acid, braindance, breakcore, electro and drum’n’bass derived musings plus remixes from some of the finest names in the “Braindance” sphere to date (some old, some new), cornering various angles of electronic music and bending them into signature contortions of scattered breakbeat rhythms, acid lines and melodic features.
Mause is one of the latest additions to the growing roster of artists on the Madrid based Analogical Force label, Mause bursts onto the scene with his first proper vinyl release entitled Ubal. Showcasing high energy drum and bass conjoined with a strong melodic backbone. Ranging from heavily edited but controlled amen-breaks supplemented by thick squelchy basslines, to chorded pads and lovely melodic elements give a sense of Mause’s background in classical piano as well as finesse with ambient composition. Ubal is an overall brilliant release highlighting excellent programming and sequencing abilities. Highly recommended for fans of Skee Mask, Squarepusher, Clark, and Brainwaltzera.
