Exillon aka Jay Fields began playing drums at 12, he played with a band for 4 years, but a need to have absolute control over every aspect of his music propelled him into solo electronic work. At age 16 his friends introduced him to a simple, sample based sequencer called Impulse Tracker. Curiosity quickly evolved into a disturbing infatuation.
His music features beautiful melodies intertwine with amazingly sequenced break paterns. It's a real gem for all electronic music collectors. Dark and atmospheric melodies mixed with harsh snares and intricate patterns which turn into upbeat light melodies just to change your mood yet again by dropping some hard kicks.
