The press release for the latest Analogical Force drop doesn't beat about the bush, declaring a braindance alert for RTR’s ‘PlanetX’ LP. With an unknown identity, RTR is still fairly new to the scene but impressed with their debut LP release which was introduced in February of 2020. Expect intricate fast paced break cutting, thick acid and lush pads and hi-tech sounds resulting in music that results in mild melting braindance goodness.
Much like the other artists represented through Madrid based Analogical Force Records, RTR is clearly unafraid to experiment with and explore a variety of tones and sounds to create a unique experience that packs a punch. With wild breakcore rhythms and spurts of acid bass in a manner that recalls classic Squarepusher, combined with frantic beats with swirling soundscapes for a truly expressive sound in addition to more contemplative IDM.
